Surfing Design Survey

My name is Stephane Krumenacker and I am a senior in Industrial Design at the Rhode Island Scool of Design. For my thesis project I am designing an urban electric vehicle inspired by surfing culture and southern California. I am attempting to contact surfers or anyone who would like to share something about their lifestyle. I would greatly appreciate anyone who would email me back.

Here are a few questions that could be helpful:

1. How would describe southern California and its culture in general? (especially if you have lived elsewhere). Think of any words that cone to mind.

2. How would describe surfing culture in California?

3. What other activities do you do? How would you describe your lifestyle? What music do you associate with surfing? How would you describe your personality?

4. What car do you own, if any, and what about it do you like and dislike? How does it suit your surfing needs and other activities? What does your surfing gear consist of?

5. If you could have the perfect vehicle for surfing, what would it be like?

Also, if anyone would like to share any pictures of surfers, or your surfing gear, or your car, it would be awesome. Disclaimer: these wont be published, printed, or anything like that. They're just for research and inspiration. So is all of the information I receive.
