A few words about the surf report: I mostly observe Pacifica. Sometimes I'll give my observations of the Half Moon Bay Jetty and sometimes of Ocean Beach, San Francisco. For more information about these different spots, see Surf Spots. Those three are the most popular spots around here but everything else is "off-limits". I try to provide some observations most days of the week. I usually do them when I'm done with a session or when I drive by in the course of my daily activities. That means sometimes I'll give a morning report and sometimes an afternoon one.
