Manresa Beach Aug 1-2

Camping at nearby the nearby Santa Cruz KOA allowed me to escape to Manresa State Beach on Sunday/Monday for some quick sessions. Both mornings presented clean conditions under overcast skies. The waves were only 1-3ft, with just enough push to get some waves with my fish. Definately log and fishboard only conditions. Considering the amount of surf I've gotten lately, which is to say...none, I consider this a victory and was pleased to get a little something without hogging too much time away from the family. Now it's back to small, sloppy SF Bay Area conditions but this should sustain me for a bit. A few sloppy local days for the rest of Aug should hold me over until the better stuff in Sept.
