Mandala Surfboard

Mandala Quad Surfboard

Mandala Quad Surfboard

Mandala makes lots of quads. I got this one and it is one of my favorite boards....perhaps my favorite. It has some weight to it and is not as floaty as some other quad fish, but it rides better. For me, the board really excels in small shorebreak waves. The kind where you just want to get in real fast and get a lot of drive of your turn in order to make a line before the wave closes on you. This board can certainly handle more than small fast waves but it is definitely the one I go for under those conditions.

I love the lokbox fins he puts on them. The forward/backward adjustment lets you move them for changing surf conditions. If your like me you just make one adjustment to dial in the sweet spot and leave it.

If your looking for quads check out Manny's boards at mandalacustomshapes.com
