Good thing your injury wasn't worse

Surfing is a very vigorous exercise, at least if it's done right...lol. You are very lucky that your injury wasn't more severe or permanent. I'm glad you've realized the benefit of regular exercise to keep you in better shape for surfing.

Your mix of cardio, cycling, and stretching is very good. This will benefit your whole body, inside and out. I would also recommend adding in some other things periodically, like strength training, to build lean muscle mass. This will also help with the weight gain since muscle weighs more than other tissues.
