February in Crescent City

I was wondering if you knew what the conditions are like in February Crescent City South Beach. Good? Fair? I am used to surfing Marin County and am considering a vacation to Crescent City in February (to see relatives up there who don't surf) and wondering how the surf conditions are that time of the year.
