ear for surfing

It was a very nice summer day, you know 95. temp. w/ water temp around 80. and waves around 4-5 ft!! really nice, but i was using a long board, turned rails, pin tail and it was not the right board for this day!!

So happens i wipe out and come up quickly to get my board and as i paddle out someone yells"Hey man, you're bleeding"!!Thats the last thing you need in the water, come to find out the pin tails hit my head just above the left ear and it was bleeding alot!!I didnt even feel it!

Well the local Coast Guard patched me up and off I returned home! Just shows you always need the right equipment! Amen
