County Line

Located on the border of the Ventura and Los Angeles county lines along Highway 1, this is a great surf spot for those who don't like the over crowded Malibu. It has a great point break as well as good breaks down the beach. It's just north of Malibu about 15 minutes and north of Leo Carillo by about 5 minutes.

There's even a little seafood restaurant...Neptune's Net I believe...right across the road from the beach that made an appearance in the movie "The Fast and the Furious."

This spot can become crowded on good days, but it has several peaks that spread out the surfers enough to enjoy yourself. It's usually good for at least something to ride during the summer months, and is quite fun when it gets above 3 feet.

The Line, bra.
by: Shane the Valley Kook

County line is sick. Because its so spaced out along the shore, you don't have to worry about snaking anyone or getting snaked out of a wave like at other crowded surf spots. Hang loose bro

Fun summer days
by: Jared

I used to live about a 1/2 from County line and had many fun days and barrels on the inside! I can't wait to get back.

Been-There-Done-That-Bitchn'!

I grew up in Manhattan Beach. There were many a surf-trip to the line that found great waves. I've been on some surf trips where we started in Huntington, cruzed up Hwy 1 all the way and didn't find anything until the line.
