Big sur surf spots are protected by a sizable group of locals who are bunch of blue blood spoiled brat castaways from a bohemian area and film industry and other super rich wealthy and not really that much hillbilly type of people who born to make your life miserable and basically pillage every existence of happiness in your heart you could ever have about this place . If you go to surf big sur make sure you start training way in advance from a professional smash your face fooo cage fighter and do the extra training it will take to prep yourself mentally to go in this very unstable surf culture. You will have to bring your serious game face here and please do not try to be friendly just be yourself and very humble here & of course lots of respect.
