Balance and Flexibility Are Key

Hi,
I have found that a high degree and of balance and flexibility have worked wonders for my surfing. Also by focusing on these rather than brute strength I am more efficient and can stay at it longer.

Finally I have also been focusing on my lower body to balance off my upper body strength with a lot of lunges, squates, tai chi moves and flexibility exercises. Realy made a difference for an old 39 year old.

BTW I go to Les Mills Body balance for the balance and flexibility bit and Body pump for the lower body strength.
