A Surfing Paradise in Pavones

I recently took a killer vacation to Pavones, Costa Rica with a group of friends. This place truly blew my mind. The waves were incredible. If you're into waves I'm sure you've all at least heard about "The Point" (one of the longest lefts in the world!!!), and if you're lucky you've actually been there and surfed it yourself. The whole experience awakened a deeper love for the sport, and a desire to go back as soon as I can save up again. The quaint town this surfing culture resides in is something I thought only I could find in books. I enjoyed meeting the locals and basking in the natural beauty that can be seen everywhere. The place we stayed at was amazing (www.villapavones.com). It had a pool, AC, & it was very close to the beach. It's the best place in town to stay. I highly recommend visiting. PURA VIDA!
